THE YOUNGER FAMILY is a TV Sit Com. Micky and Kitty Younger are your typical American family parents. Micky runs his father’s lucrative business, a booming anti-aging cosmetics company, while Kitty is a stay at home mother raising their children and home-schooling their youngest boy, Marty. 8-year-old Marty, the youngest of three, is far and away the most spoiled of the children. He whines to get his way and tantrums regularly. He’s a challenge for the Younger’s, but he’s adorable in his own rights. Their middle child, Tiffany, is your typical 15-year-old girl. Boy crazy, hip, smart, pretty, and a real handful for her parents. The oldest, 16, Micky Junior, is struggling with High School, consumed with video games and the internet, and is struggling to find his place in the world when it comes to self esteem and self image.

All would seem normal for the Younger family, accept for the fact that Micky and Kitty both share a rare degenerative birth defect. Though both in their mid 40‘s, they stopped physically maturing at twelve years of age. Wanting to have children, but fearing genetic traits being passed on, Kitty and Micky worked with a maternity specialist who was able to successfully help them conceive. There was only one glitch. The children, rather than sharing the birth defects of their parents, received a mutated version of their parents’ DNA and were actually born fully mature and are slowly aging backwards.

Marty, the tantruming 8-year-old, actually looks like a bald, stout man in his fifties. 15-year-old, boy crazy Tiffany, struggles with the issues of High School peer pressures trapped inside the drop-dead gorgeous body of a 30 year old woman. And 16-year-old Mick Junior, with his Goerge Clooney good-looks, is a walking paradox as he struggles with issues of self esteem and sexual confidence.

The Younger’s have worked hard to establish a “Normal” life in their community in the midwest, but when the family business opens a new facility in Hollywood California, they take on the challenges of a new work environment, a new home, a new community, a new school, new friends, and all the typical challenges many of us face under these circumstances, but with a fresh, new, younger twist.
